Hello! I'm Sorna Shalom, a passionate smartphone photographer who believes that the most powerful camera is the one you always carry with you. My journey into photography began with a simple curiosity — what if I looked at ordinary things just a little differently?
My work is rooted in the art of reflection — not just the visual kind found in mirrors and water, but the deeper kind that asks us to pause and truly see. I am drawn to moments where light plays tricks, where the world doubles itself, and where a screen or a surface reveals something hidden.
Shooting entirely on smartphones, I find that the limitation itself becomes a creative strength. There are no heavy lenses or complex settings to hide behind — only vision, patience, and the courage to notice what others walk past.
This portfolio — SHALOM — is my submission to the smartphone photography competition. Each image is paired with a single word that captures its essence: Time, Clarity, Perspective, Journey, Wonder, Connection, and Comfort.
